Volume 15: Location, Location, Location

 !

Understand that where you throw a pitch plays a direct role in where the ball gets hit. Logical, right? Common sense, right? We all know common sense and common practice are two different things.

If you want a ground ball to keep the ball in the infield, attack low in the zone. You want a pop up or fly ball, attack higher in the zone. You want to give up a BOMB, throw it over the middle!

If a hitter has a long, slow swing attack inside. Far off the plate, attack outside.

After you establish that you can hit your locations, then you can fool any hitter.
