Ten Things Money Can't Buy

A while back I saw a great post on Facebook that really hit the mark. I really enjoy reading some of these nuggets of wisdom and life advice when they pop up. This list of applies directly to our game.

Players, coaches and parents: We will all be well served if we keep these 10 things in mind.

1. Manners

2. Morals

3. Respect

4. Character

5. Common sense

6. Trust

7. Patience

8. Class

9. Integrity

10. Love

This is a pretty powerful list that will make every team more successful and make every player a better teammate.

Next time you go to the ballpark, whether it’s for practice or a game, keep this list in mind. Think about this list before you speak or act. None of us are perfect, trust me I know this very well, but if we can aspire to be the person who possesses as many of these traits as possible, the sky is the limit!
