RECRUITING SEMINAR
An in-depth look at the recruiting process. This seminar will feature instruction in creating a player profile and skills video, effective communication with college coaches and suggestions for questions to ask a college coach. It will also cover scheduling visits, selecting the best school and navigating through the process.
CLINICS
One day instructional events featuring specific skills. Hitting, slapping and bunting, pitching and catching or defensive fundamentals are all offered. These events will be held at both Cherokee Batting Range and Elite Sports Training Academy. Check our EVENTS calendar for upcoming clinics near you!
CAMPS
Multi day instructions events featuring multiple skill areas. These events will be held at differing locations. Check out the EVENTS calendar for the camp nearest you!
PLAYER ASSESSMENT AND EVALUATION SERVICE
Fastpitch Prep is offering an opportunity for aspiring players to have a much better idea of where they fit into the recruiting landscape. Our experienced staff of former college coaches will conduct an in-depth evaluation of a player and provide them with a detailed report listing their strengths, weaknesses and areas of improvement. We will measure bat speed, throwing speed, snap times, home to first, home to home and several other standard tests to offer a player a ranking that will allow them to see how they stack up to other players in their recruiting class. Each player and her parents will be given suggestions regarding the level of play they are likely to be a fit for. Similar to how the SAT and ACT give prospective students a range of schools matching their academic level, Fastpitch Prep offers the same type of evaluation for a player's athletic ability.
Individual Sessions
Gold Option – $200 – We provide a facility where a player schedules an individual assessment with our staff. She will have all her measurable tests done and will go through a short workout where our staff will be able to evaluate a players skills level. These workouts will be video taped for our reference and are available to the player. Each player will receive a detailed report and rating.
Silver Option – $175 – The player provides a facility and schedules an individual assessment with our staff within our standard mileage range. We can travel outside that range for an additional fee for mileage. Each player will have all her measurable tests done and will go through a short workout where our staff will be able to evaluate a players skills level. These workouts will be video taped for our reference and are available to the player. Each player will receive a detailed report and rating.
Small Group Sessions (Three players minimum)
Bronze Option – $150 per player – We provide a facility where a player schedules a small group assessment with our staff. Each player will have all her measurable tests done and will go through a short workout where our staff will be able to evaluate a players skills level. These workouts will be video taped for our reference and are available to the player. Each player will receive a detailed report and rating.
Copper Option – $125 per player – The players provide a facility where we schedule a small group assessment with our staff. The player provides a facility and schedules an individual assessment with our staff within our standard mileage range. We can travel outside that range for an additional fee for mileage. These workouts will be video taped for our reference and are available to the player. Each player will receive a detailed report and rating.
Tournament Specials
Occasionally Fastpitch Prep will offer this service at local tournaments. Check out the EVENTS calendar to see if we will be at a tournament your team is playing in!
Diamond Option – $100 – Each player’s measurable tests are done on site. The players are then required to submit a video meeting our guidelines for evaluation by our staff. Each player will receive a detailed report and rating.
Basic Option – $25 – Each player’s measurable tests are done on site. They will receive a certificate with their results. There is no evaluation attached to this option but having standardized results are useful to a player and her family.
