What's in a Name?

Okay, travel ball people, it is time to get serious about a scourge that is plaguing the game of Fastpitch! I have been around this game for a long long time and I have seen many trends come and go. Here is something that NEEDS TO GO!!!

No more team names that don’t go through spell check!! I know it was cute for a while, but it is time to please put to rest:

  • The X without the E (looking at you Xtreme)

  • The X to replace the CK

  • The K to replace the C and the Z in almost all cases

If you must use these ideas, may we suggest:

Team Name: KonVix (Convicts for those of you who aren’t in on the joke)!

Uniform Number 1:  All orange, pants, jerseys, socks, sleeves, belts, everything!

Uniform Number 2: White with black horizontal stripes. Super baggy with the long style pants, of course!

Player Numbers: All must be at least 6 numerals long, i.e #354667, on a patch to be sewn on each jersey.

Players Names: INMATE, JAIL, STATE ISSUE, COUNTY, MAXIMUM SECURITY or PRISONER!

Coach and Spirit Wear: Must all look like prison guard uniforms.

Recruiting profiles will have mugshot style photos.

The list of possibilities is endless!!  And you will get noticed!!!!
