We’ve all heard scary stories about the spooky house down the road or the local cemetery or even about the haunted hotel near you. Well, let me tell you, I have never been one to believe in the supernatural, but over the last couple years I have come to grips with one simple fact. Softball is haunted!
So what changed my mind about the supernatural you ask?
There must be some sort of mystical force affecting the softball community because there are just too many people being seduced into doing something that is just downright crazy.
My grandfather always used to say, “fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me” and that wisdom has stuck with me for the majority of my life. So when I see full-grown adults acting in such an illogical way, I have to assume that they have been seduced by the dark side or had their minds and bodies possessed by some sort of evil force.

Every day I pick up evidence of this craziness. Here is a picture of some of the pieces of Easton Ghost bats I find in my cage, everyday! I started the collection as a joke but as the number of pieces grew, it kind of stopped being funny.
