There are a lot of really smart people involved in the great game of fastpitch softball. It has been my pleasure to learn from many of them. Here is a list compiled from some of those really smart people and published by Denny at Tincher Pitching. I’ve stolen the list but added a few of my own points to their very good article.
When your kid plays poorly it isn’t a reflection on you or your parenting skills. When she plays great it also doesn’t mean you are a great parent. How she plays has no real impact on your role as a parent. When you tell her she “let you down” by playing poorly what you are really saying is that it is all about you.
Isn’t she the one playing? Thought so.
