Don't Downplay Her Surroundings

There are a lot of really smart people involved in the great game of fastpitch softball. It has been my pleasure to learn from many of them. Here is a list compiled from some of those really smart people and published by Denny at Tincher Pitching.  I’ve stolen the list but added a few of my own points to their very good article.

When you are negative about her coaches, instructors or teammates you are telling your daughter that the people she is working with are not capable. If you want her to look forward to going to practice and games you need to create a positive framework. If you want her to be excited about learning you need to show her you have confidence in the people she will be learning from.

When you tear down the people around her you are really tearing her down too!
