There are a lot of really smart people involved in the great game of fastpitch softball. It has been my pleasure to learn from many of them. Here is a list compiled from some of those really smart people and published by Denny at Tincher Pitching. I’ve stolen the list but added a few of my own points to their very good article.
Recruiting is already a very difficult and stressful process. When you set your sights on a “big-time” college program it puts a ridiculous amount of pressure on her and your relationship with her. When you push she might respond or she might push back!
“We” don’t play college softball. “We” don’t go away to school. “We” don’t have to love the life that her college softball choices create, she does!
if SHE isn’t happy, no one will be!
