The softball world has lost another good man and that thought just makes me very sad.
Coaching with Bob Mosley this past year is something I consider to be a highlight in my coaching career. He had a very down home way of sharing his thoughts, but he always had something valuable to say.
He knew the game and I learned a lot from him. I will miss our discussions.
Cancer makes me wonder how such a bad thing can happen to such a good person. It just doesn’t seem fair. And to see how the loss impacts the lives of so many people is one of the saddest realities of all.
Coach Bob was a man of great faith. I feel blessed to have been able to see his strength. He put his fate in God’s hands and, I’m sure, was at peace when the end came.
Coach Bob set a great example that I hope those of us who knew him can follow.
I believe they play fastpitch in Heaven and I’m sure Coach Bob has his bucket ready. Rest in Peace!
