Just because you knew it all, doesn’t mean you know it all.
One of the most disappointing thing for a coach to deal with is when a player or group of players decides to leave a team. But it’s not always a reason for gloom.
Everyone is biased! On that point I think we can all agree. Whether that bias is a positive thing or a negative, again, depends on your perspective.
I’m not a big fan of pitching machines for batting practice, but I do love me some front toss.
We want our kids to play well. We want to win the game. We hate it when they make mistakes. We think if we remind her one more time that it will help. Well, maybe not.

We talk about players needing to back up their teammates all the time, but coaches also need to back themselves up.
Most softball players will not be chasing scholarships or playing on a high-level travel team. They just want to have fun!
You need a bench to keep your team operating, There’s one thing you have to do to keep that bench intact.
